Complete SY24-25 Enrollment for Your Child

DCPS is excited to open enrollment on Friday, March 29, 2024 to our families and welcome new students to our community! We are proud to serve over 50,000 students and thrilled to launch School Year 2024-2025 (SY24-25) enrollment with your family.

Please complete SY24-25 enrollment by following three steps: 

1. Complete the DCPS enrollment packet using online enrollment or paper forms.
   • Families New to DCPS will click “Request Aspen Account” to create a new account and begin enrolling their student(s).  
   • Families Returning to DCPS will login to the platform using their Parent Portal credentials. If you do not know your Parent Portal credentials or need to update your email address, please contact your school. A valid email address is required to use online enrollment.
2. Gather and attach supporting documents.
3. Submit the packet and supporting documents to your student's school enrollment team.

Frequently Asked Questions:

1. How do I access online enrollment in other languages? Online enrollment will be fully translated and available for families to complete in Amharic, Chinese, English, French, Spanish, and Vietnamese. To change language preferences, families must login to online enrollment, click the account icon in the top right corner, select “settings”. Then, a dropdown will appear under “preferred language” with all available languages. Select your preferred language, then scroll down to the bottom of the page to submit and save your changes.
2. What if I do not have an email address? An email address is required to complete online enrollment. Here are some resources to create a free email account: Gmail, Yahoo, and Outlook. A paper application will be available for those without email access.
